Sanctuary Golf Course Wedding - Brittany & Kevin
Brittany & Kevin were an amazing couple to work with.
They wanted a wedding planner who could offer the same meticulous attention to detail that they would if they had done it themselves. When the day came they were able to let go and trust the process! I love couples who are both organized and laid back.
As a result, this amazing Sanctuary Golf Course wedding ended up being the perfect day.
Classic florals, a blinged-out ballgown, a vintage car, and lots of dancing are just some of what I have to share from this recent wedding. Read on for more!
Sanctuary Golf Course Wedding Brittany & Kevin
The Sanctuary in Sedalia, CO offers high beamed ceilings, large windows, stunning rock and brickwork, a huge waterfall, endless lawns, and a versatile ceremony space with mountain views.
As a wedding planner, I enjoy working at the Sanctuary because the venue itself is so polished. It truly is a great venue for weddings that are classic, elegant, and upscale.
It's also very local! Sedalia, CO sounds far away, but the Sanctuary Golf Course is just minutes from Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Denver, and Castle Rock. Win win!
Brittany is a flight instructor for the Air Force Academy, and Kevin is a biochemical engineer. These two are smart, fun, and absolutely adorable together.
Kevin and Brittany have the CUTEST proposal story.
They had a date at the Denver Zoo, and Kevin surprised her with a proposal in front of the otter tank.
They wanted to incorporate otters into their decor, which I thought was the cutest idea and possibly the best decoration ever!
They chose classic but modern floral design from The Flower Shop that included greenery, fresh roses in shades of blush and ivory, and succulents for the boutonnières. The simplicity of his bout paired with the crisp black suit is perfection.
Having a private first-look is always a hit.
The Sanctuary golf course has this beautiful indoor space with windows a gorgeous flagstone floor.
Brittany chose a fun, modern ballgown from D'Anneli Bridal in Lakewood with extra sparkles and a flirty, unexpected skirt.
The Sanctuary holds wedding ceremonies on a covered patio (think, safe from weather!) surrounded by beautiful greens and mountain views.
Brittany and Kevin really wanted the day to be about them and their love, so instead of a tradition wedding party they stood at the altar with their parents by their sides.
Beautiful cupcakes from Gigi's Cupcakes in Littleton, CO!
Their first dance was both emotional and fun. Beautiful chandeliers and string lights created a warm and romantic atmosphere.
I also have to mention this skirt again. Look at the layers and ruffles! It was so gorgeous and flirty while still being elegant and modern.
After the formal events were done, it was time to party! This group really knew how to celebrate. Working with professional DJ and lighting companies really made a difference. Brittany and Kevin's reception was FUN!
Once it was time for the day to come to it's end, I helped coordinate their sparkler exit. These are always fun and a great way to say goodnight to your wedding day.
Not to mention, a great photo op.
Kevin and Brittany made their escape in a stunning Vintage Rolls Royce car.
Congrats Brittany & Kevin!
