Andrea & Greg

Andrea and Greg - A College Love Story

Andrea and Greg met in college at the School of Mines in 2012. They became best friends but Greg was interested in more. It took Andrea a while to discover how truly wonderful Greg is but in his words, “She finally came around.”

Andrea was the kind of girl that dreamed of her wedding day since she was a little girl. She knew exactly what she wanted, a traditional catholic wedding and a reception that was intimate, romantic, fun and memorable.

When Andrea and Greg got engaged, they did not set a date right away.  But that didn’t deter Andrea to set the planning wheels in motion. She would occasionally purchase an item or two from Etsy (mostly signs) and started collecting wine bottles and lanterns to use as centerpieces.

By the time she came to Blue Linden for a consultation, she had hired all of her vendors except the florist. She was on top of things.

The wedding was at the beautiful St Mary’s Catholic Parish in Littleton, CO. It was truly beautiful with natural sunlight flooding the altar!

The invitation suite  and programs were designed by Beacon Lane, an online boutique and design studio.

After the ceremony the bridal party took the limo to a beautiful park in Littleton called Jack Ass Hill to take couple’s portraits and formals. April typically has the most snow fall in Colorado but it was a beautiful sunny afternoon!

As they were finishing up an afternoon storm began rolling in and the Photographer, Jewels Gray took advantage of the backdrop and captured a “Gone With the Wind” moment.

The reception was at Baldoria on the Water in Lakewood, a Tuscan style venue with stone arches, wine barrels and domed wooden hallways. It was warm and welcoming atmosphere with personal touches throughout

The night ended with an ice cream bar, disco dancing and on of the best sparkler send off.s I’ve ever seen.  It was a magical wedding that flew by and was over before we knew it.
