Evergreen Lakehouse Colorado Fall Wedding - Katelynn & Jon
I always love the Evergreen Lakehouse for Colorado mountain weddings, and it is especially beautiful in the fall!
It’s a quaint little mountain venue, and because it’s operated by the recreation department this venue can be much more friendly to the budget.
The Lakehouse offers beautiful views, a rustic reception space, and plenty of options for photos along the lake and adjacent wetlands.
Katelynn & Jon had a Fall wedding in Evergreen, sharing their vows in the crisp mountain air with their closest family and friends. I loved helping them plan this beautiful day, and making sure that every little detail was in place!
(Did I mention the amazing vintage getaway car?)
Katelynn chose to wear these sparkly Ked’s after the ceremony. This is a GREAT way to bring a little bonus personality to your bridal details, and keep your feet comfy for dancing at the reception!
I love the illusion back and buttons on Katelynn’s classic lace wedding gown. It was absolutely stunning on her, and I loved that she chose to share a ‘first look’ moment with her dad.
This is always such a special moment, and having it photographed can be a really great way to kick off the wedding day. Make sure to chat with your photographer (and planner) about making this happen.
After seeing her dad, Katelynn & Jon shared their own first look.
Jon was ecstatic to see her, and as is true for most couples who choose a first look, this really helped to calm nerves.
A first look can also help relax the timeline a bit, allowing for more time to be spent celebrating together on the day of the wedding!
Jon and his groomsmen kept things simple and ‘mountain chic’ with bowties and suspenders. This is a fantastic laid-back look that perfectly matched their beautiful mountain venue.
The views from the Lakehouse are beautiful. The ceremony deck is peaceful and secluded from the excitement of downtown Evergreen.
We placed small bouquets of sunflowers and greenery on the aisle chairs, a simple but effective way to bring the theme of the wedding to the ceremony in an otherwise already gorgeous place.
I helped pass out blankets to wedding guests, so they might cozy up together in the cool fall air for the ceremony!
For their Unity Ceremony, Katelynn and Jon planted a tree together. How awesome to be able to plant this tree and see it grow, year by year!
A fall color palette of jewel tones, orange, and yellow were perfect, especially against the golden tones of both the outdoors and log walls of the Evergreen Lakehouse.
We chose gold chargers, fall leaves, candles, and jewel toned napkins for the reception.
Tiny shimmering pumpkins were the perfect final accent!
Congratulations Katelynn and Jon, thank you for inviting me to be a part of your amazing Evergreen Fall wedding!
