Tihsreed Lodge is nestled in the Rocky Mountains in a town called Florrisant. It’s owned by a husband and wife team, Don and Toni and they do it all! It’s a lovely, rustic welcoming venue, perfect for a small destination wedding.

It’s off the beaten path, surrounded by wildlife and beauty that only Colorado offers. (Try spelling the venue name backwards).

We had the pleasure of coordinating Ellen and Ryan’s wedding at Tihsreed last October and it was so much fun!  Everyone pitched in for a real DIY family wedding. The bride’s sisters along with Blue Linden created centerpieces. The owners set out the chairs and Blue Linden decorated them with tulle. The view of the Rocky Mountains was a bit block by storm clouds but still a beautiful site.

Our favorite part of the wedding was the pairing of elegant attire with Converse sneakers!

The night was filled with unexpected surprises from the donut bar to a live band named Rabbit Wilde.

It was truly a wedding to remember and at the end of the night I felt like family!
