I had the true pleasure of being the wedding coordinator for Laura and Greg, a very genuine, madly-in-love couple. Their wedding was held in Washington at the Hilton Vancouver on an absolutely beautiful sunny day (which is rarely the case in Washington in May).
Glam Beauty Bar did a lovely job on all the bridal party’s hair and make-up, and every lady looked simply beautiful. Laura bought them matching flannel shirts from Etsy that were embroidered with their “title.” They were super cute, comfy and functional for the morning of the wedding.
Laura purchased her dress at Charolettes’ Weddings & More and the designer was Sincerity Bridal. Her open toed shoes were Badgley Mischka and were navy blue with gorgeous bling.
Greg and his groomsmen had their accessories and tuxedos provided by Men’s Wearhouse. The guys all looked very dapper and we just loved Grey’s blue tux. It fit him perfectly and he looked so classy and handsome.
The best part about this wedding was the true joy everyone felt from Laura and Greg. They simply beamed with happiness and love. I mean, look at the smile! William James Photography really captured the emotions of the day.
What I didn’t know going into the day was how sweet and sentimental Greg was. They prayed together before seeing each other, and Greg just couldn’t keep himself from getting emotional.
Then came first look …
And sweet Greg lost it. He was overwhelmed with how beautiful Laura looked and the fact that she was his bride.
When he pulled it together, the photo fun continued and Will clicked away!
The bridal party was a group of close friends, and they made the day so much fun. They were light hearted and goofy, with just the right touch of “swag.”
There were so many fun photos, it was difficult to choose which ones to include. William James Photography really captured the essence of the day … lots of love and fun!
Laura’s dad was ready to “get the show on the road,” but Laura shared a kiss on the cheek before walking down the aisle.
The next kiss was for her beloved as Mrs. Silva!
We just love this picture, because again, it expresses the genuine happiness Laura and Greg feel! The pastor is serious signing the marriage license, but Laura and Greg are still true to their fun-loving nature.
The florist was Stacey Young from Stacey’s Flowers and she created gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces varying from high to low. The room was elegant, stunning and welcoming thanks to the beautiful floral arrangements!
Laura’s flowers were a lush and loose bouquet of white roses, hypericum berry, lisianthus, freesia, silver dollar eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, and dusty miller. Just beautiful!
The naked cake and assortment of cupcakes were made by Simple Sweets, and I must admit, I sampled a few. Not only did they look good, they tasted good!
During cocktail hour Laura and Greg offered Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to their guests in addition to appetizers. I mean, life is short … eat dessert first!
The rings were designed by Kassab Jewelers, and like the couple, were unique and beautiful.
Their first dance was choreographed and was sweet and romantic.
William James Photography caught so many great moments on the dance floor but some were a bit incriminating so we had to choose a select few. But lets just say everyone had a fantastic time and the dance floor was full all night.
Thank you Laura and Greg for trusting Blue Linden with your wedding details. It was truly my pleasure working with you, and I wish you a Happily Ever After.
